Salesforce Field Service Lightning Implementation

 

Project

eAtlantic Engineering partnered with the Zembretta Government team on a journey to digital transformation - away from a paper-based system, to a modern, streamlined, and simple inspection process. The Zembretta team recognized that eAtlantic Engineering’s business objective would be a great fit for the Salesforce Field Service Lightning product. eAtlantic Engineering agreed and engaged Zembretta  in implementing that solution for their mobile inspection process.

Client

The primary areas of focus for eAtlantic Engineering are Building Code Inspections and Structural Engineering. They provide a wide variety of Inspections, Plan Reviews, Testing and Consulting. The main corporate office is located in Cape Coral, Florida. eAtlantic has project sites in many counties throughout the state of Florida.

 

Challenge

eAtlantic Engineering was spending many hours on an inefficient, paper-based process they had developed for monitoring client projects requiring inspections, assigning inspections to the most qualified inspector in the area, creating inspection schedules, and reporting inspection results to the county agencies. Although there was a great opportunity to grow the business, these manual processes were holding them back.

A robust field service and CRM solution built on the Salesforce Field Service Lightning platform answers the challenges the eAtlantic Engineering team faced.  Zembretta built a solution that exceeded the expectations of eAtlantic Engineering.

“We are a small Engineering firm providing Building Inspection services locally. We provide inspection services for Residential and Commercial Contractors. We must provide Notification to the local Building Department prior to conducting inspections and then we provide the inspection result within 48 hours. We were previously doing everything by hand. All Inspections were being handwritten into our file and then typed into an email to provide the results to the Building Dept. I was also manually reviewing all reports and creating a spreadsheet to document our growth. My review alone would take me 4 hours each Monday. Salesforce & Zembretta have provided a solution that has already proven to save us an enormous amount of time. The Inspection Notifications are put into our Salesforce system one time and Zembretta helped us create automatic reporting that not only saves us time but eliminates the room for error. They also helped to modify the FieldService app to better help our inspectors in the field. Once the Inspectors adds the Approval to the App, the automatic reporting generates a spreadsheet at the end of the day and we simply review and forward to the Building Department. The weekly review that was taking me 4 hours every Monday is now automatically emailed to me 1 time per week and it takes me 0 minutes. Zembretta was not only very knowledgeable about Salesforce but very good about explaining what they were doing as they were making changes. They have always been prompt and very quick to reply. This is extremely helpful as our office is very fast paced and we do require quick solutions. I cannot say enough great things about Zembretta & Salesforce. If we could give Zembretta six stars, we would!”
